Stranahan's Diamond Peak Single Malt Whiskey

Stranahan's Diamond Peak is selected from the distilleries oldest and rarest casks by Master Distiller Rob Dietrich. Diamond Peak is single malt whisky aged a mimimum of four years in #3 char American Oak barrels at the distilleires mile-high warehouse in Denver, Colorado.  It's non-chill filttered and cut to proof with water sourced from the Eldorado spring, situated just outside Boulder, Colorado. Then, each batch is bottled by hand.

Tasting Notes:

Nose: Dried apricot, tack-shed leather, black licorice, hint of wet cedar.

Palate: Turkish, dark roast coffee, butterscotch oak, cayenne and Mexican hot chocolate.

Finish: Boldly mingled flavors of bread pudding, tropical fruits and barley, that linger endlessly on the tongue.
