James Bay Berry & Ube Flavored Gin (750mL)

James Bay Berry & Ube Flavored Gin was 2 years in development! The distillery started with berries but wanted something more unique! So they added one of their favorite flavors – Pacific Island ube, a sweet potato with vanilla and pistachio notes, found easily in the Seattle area.

James Bay Berry & Ube Flavored Gin is distilled with juniper, coriander, angelica, orris root and other select botanicals, then infused with berries and allowed to steep in our high proof gin. Ube is added later in the infusion. Berry fruits and ube are filtered from the solution at 25 microns.

This tasty gin is a pleasure to the eye as well, with its vivid and exotic amethyst color. Intended to be a “sipping gin” over ice this makes a fantastic martini, or gin smash using a blueberry jam and soda.

James Bay Berry & Ube Flavored Gin Tasting Notes:

Round, sweet notes from blueberries are completed with June berries from Minnesota, Saskatoon berries from Canada, black currants (USA) and wild- harvested Oregon grape for lemony top note. There is just enough juniper to know it’s a gin, and end with a wonderful vanilla and pistachio finish from the Pacific island ube. USA.
