Split Rock Distilling handcrafts their Organic Barrel Rested Gin from premium 100% USA grown organic corn and organic botanicals. They distill from 100% corn mash and then infuse with organic botanicals. Then they let their Gin age in their own Bourbon Whiskey barrels until it's smooth enough to sip-and strong enough to hold its own.

This Organic Barrel Rested Gin is mashed, fermented, distilled, infused, filtered, proofed, bottled and labeled by hand at Split Rock Distilling in Newcastle, Maine.


Tasting Notes:

A dry citrus forward sip'able gin
Botanical notes of juniper, angelica and lemon with a hint of woody Bourbon sweetness and oak in the clean finish.

    Best Barrel Rested Gin

    So far, this is, hands down, my favorite barrel rested gin. It has a strong cardamom flavor, and I think it plays well with lots of flavors. Very fun to use in cocktails.
