Whiskey Review by FWL Contributing Editor Commander H.G.H Glendidit.
A small batch of small-batch 1792 Ridgemont Small Batch Bourbon, which the Moses of "The Whisky Bible", Jim Murray, described thus:
"In a herd of 30 random bourbons, this one would stand out by nose alone. The taste is puckering and mouthwatering, the ryes go ballistic, especially on the spice front." Mr. Murray also awarded it a 94.5 rating.
The spice of rye is indeed quite evident in the 1792 Ridgemont Small Batch, which we were sipping surreptitiously...This would be the bourbon for the infamous "Bug-Out Bag" as they call it. The all-purpose potation whose civility matches its potency, a Kung-Fu master in tails, a "Civilized Gorilla", if you will, in the mode of James Bond.
