Pike Creek 10 YO Canadian Whisky Finished In Rum Barrels (750ml)

From one of Canada's leading distilleries comes this premium small batch whisky that had until recently been one of Canada's best kept secrets and allocated only for the domestic market. Made from a select amount of older whiskies aged a minimum of10 years the whisky is then finished in used rum barrels. The silken texture is a perfect foil for the intense flavors of menthol, black peppercorns, crystallized ginger, orange peels and red berries and mauby syrup.

Tasting Notes:

Aroma: Rich decadent aromas of brown sugar and vanilla on the nose

Taste: notes of plums, toffee a rye spice, molasses, and oak.

Finish: subtle notes of citrus zest.
