Fruit first on the nose with apple, apricot, and clementine with underlying hints of toffee, banana bread, buttered hazelnuts, and smoky brine. Big, bold sherry flavors mold the palate with decadent dried fruit flavors and luxurious rancio flavors giving way to cocoa and coffee. Spicy vanilla fruit, ripe apples and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. This is the result of eighteen long years and a generous proportion of first-fill sherry casks.
