The Dalmore 40 Year Old Highland Single Malt (750mL)
The Dalmore 40 Year Old is a ‘triple-matured’ single malt whisky that was matured in ex-Bourbon casks before spending seven years in Sherry butts used to age González Byass’ 30-year-old Matusalem oloroso, and finally returned once again to first-fill ex-Bourbon barrels.
The palate is rich and full, notes of coffee, sultanas, dates, gingerbread and maple syrup mingling together before a finish full of blood orange and coconut notes.
It is presented in a decanter designed by French crystal house Baccarat, featuring Dalmore’s 12-point Royal Stag emblem.
The whiskey was created as part of The Dalmore's continued celebration of Master Distiller Richard Paterson’s 50th anniversary in the whisky industry, with a total of 750 bottles of Dalmore 40 Year Old released world wide.
