Catskill Provisions Honey Infused Rye Whiskey (750ml)

A spicy rye kick is matched with succulent aromas of blossom honey, golden raisin, and burnt orange peel. Rye peeks through the honey, with an earthiness to balance the inherent sweetness. Toasted, nutty, and long.

Reminiscent of tea with honey, this whisky is distilled at Black Button Distilling in Rochester NY, where beekeeper Claire Marin of Catskill Provisions adds a touch of her honey to her exacting specificaiton, and does all the bottling.

The three year-old rye is distilled from a mashbill of 80% rye, 5 % corn, 15% malted barley and then infused with a slight amount of raw local honey, creating a light-bodied, drying whiskey, with notes of cedar and black tea, and slightly a sweet honey accent on the finish
