Signatory Unchillfiltered Collection Linkwood 2009 (750mL)

A beautiful whisky - light, bright, and clean. She (this whisky is definitely feminine in character, full of grace and delicate beauty) is like a picnic in a countryside orchard. Fruity and flowery with some nice confectionery notes as well.

An all-arounder that seems to do everything quite well and quite effortlessly. Linkwood is one of Diageo's staple malts for Johnnie Walker (rumor has it it is prominently featured in the Blue Label line), which makes sense given its beauty and easy-drinking character. Rarely seen in single malt form except from independent bottlers.

Color: Natural straw color

Aroma: Light. Floral. Dough. Cinnamon apple sauce. Champaane.

Palate: Apple cider. Ginger tea. White tea. Wet cardboard. Graham cracker.

Finish: Honey. Cinnamon apple sauce and champagne both reappear. Dark chocolate. Mild astringency. Chewv. Fairly short.
